每年英国音乐传媒/唱片工业都会捧出一队队“最佳新晋乐团”，毫无疑问，由主唱兼吉他手James Walsh领军的英国Wigan乐团Starsailor，便是2001年最受瞩目的Media Hype之一。Starsailor——四个年轻人用简单的吉他、键盘和漂亮的声音演绎出了人情关系，音乐是没有象语言那样的分界线的。抒情的英伦摇滚风格，萦绕着浓浓的学院气息，隐约看到Beatles的影子，一样无拘无束的水手。灵魂人物主唱James Walsh说：“我只是想做一些很自然的事，我要抒发自己的感想而不是只是随便唱唱。有些人去酒吧喝得烂醉，有些人写书，对我来说，表达自己最好的办法就是写歌。”
