Club 8来自盛产清新音乐的梦幻之国——瑞典，以舒缓的节奏和优雅的旋律见长，最有代表性的作品就是《十二月的爱情》(Love in December)，1995年在瑞典成立的Club 8乐队由女主唱柯姆斯塔德(Karolina Komstedt)和负责所有歌曲创作、乐器演奏的约翰·昂格伽德(Johan Angergard，来自Acid House Kings、Poprace乐队)组成，此时，他们的音乐被归类为Anorak Pop，并深受传奇独立厂牌Sarah旗下的乐队Jim Ruiz以及the Smiths的影响，不久便与西班牙的清新独立厂牌Siesta签约，并在旗下发表了单曲《我也是》(Me Too)和专辑《Nouvelle》。离开Siesta之后，Club 8选择了DIY的自主之路，自行制作唱片，然后交由不同的唱片公司发行，因为这样的方式可以直抒真我情怀。

《Love In December》其实很适合在夏天听，道理就如天热饮冰这么简单。在一些电台DJ那儿，《Love In December》是他们作配乐的首选。它有最简单的好听公式：清新的女声加飘忽的合成旋律，但音乐又不是这么简单，有点Trip-Hop的阴冷，又有更多法式电子的温情。卡罗琳娜的（Karolina Komstedt），除了唱歌，她的职业还是老师。

聆听《Love In December》带来的诗意。"Don't you worry, I'll be there for you"是副歌的起始一句，卡罗琳娜总是唱得很揪心。发于心，越发轻，最无力。莫担心，岂非最是担心？到了歌曲结束，用了和开头引子一样的4个单音，便停了，悬在了那儿，周遭万物往下坠。首尾的呼应莫非是无意中应证的某种缺失？总觉得，这首歌像未唱完。要说清新或温情，清新亦沉重，温情也伤神。

瑞典独立乐队Club8

成立时间：1995年

主唱卡罗林娜·柯姆斯塔德（KarolinaKomstedt）；
词曲作者、编曲、乐器演奏约翰·昂格伽德（JohanAngergard）

1995年Club8正式成立于瑞典。
乐队成立后不久便与西班牙独立厂牌Siesta签约，
并在旗下发表了单曲《Metoo》和专辑《Nouvelle》。
之后他们离开Siesta，选择自行制作唱片。

Club8的第二张专辑《ThefriendIoncehad》和单曲《Missingyou》分别于1998年和1999年发表。
《Missingyou》在欧美迅速成为风靡校园、酒吧和电台的金曲。
随后他们在2001年发表第三张同名专辑《Club8》，顿时风靡全欧洲。
西班牙、英国、美国、日本的各大独立厂牌都争相要求这张专辑在各自国家的代理发行。

2003年春天，Club8发表第四张专辑《StrangelyBeautiful》，
这是迄今为止乐队最为成功的唱片，在2003美国CMJ排行榜上名列第18位。
