HIM是芬兰歌特乐团。主唱Ville Hermanni Valo，一个习惯自嘲的硬摇滚先锋，又是个痛苦欲绝的诗人。在台上时，他一手拿着瓶红酒一手叼着支烟，好象就是以前Jim Morrison的翻版，只不过Valo的嗓子更加低沉而富有情感，他会不断引起你的注意。Valo的母亲是匈牙利籍移民，因此这也难怪Valo的外表阴暗，就好象体内流着吸血鬼Dracula的血液一样。HIM便是His Infernal Majesty的缩写。
怎么说，第一次听到Him的那首《Join Me》就很喜欢了，一种有点另类的曲调，但就是这种声线吸引了我，那时候还不知道主唱长的是什么样子，直到下到了这首歌的MV，才发现原来是一个浓装艳抹的家伙，原来就很讨厌像马雷。曼森一类的，但是没有因此而对HIM产生反感，相反地更喜欢HIM，不明白是为什么，也许是他的声音吧，总能透过声音去感觉到他的内心。这二天又下载了 《in joy and sorrow》 ，沉寂心底的HIM再次被唤醒，反反复复听着in joy and sorrow 。。。真想跟随着音乐发泄所有的不快，让心情得到些许的放松。
