Ocean Deep表面上是一首表达深沉爱念的歌，Cliff的演绎也是深情款款的，但是我听来听去都觉得这其实是一首自省的沉思曲，海，深海，翅膀闭室，爱情，友情，。。。一个人即使孤处一室，也能够拥有深深的海般的情感，这是男女的爱慕之情么？不是，这是自己的思绪，既不比思绪少点什么，也不比思绪多点什么。
Cliff Richard的嗓音，有别于一般的英语歌手。似乎受过良好的声乐训练。高低音的不夸张的松弛，使这首Ocean Deep更加忧郁。如果我们听到的是很生硬的声音，这首歌，会大大逊色。
