Bellefire三名成员与众多爱尔兰歌手相似——长相灵秀漂亮，卷曲长发，清新的少女形象，阳光的笑容，有青春标志的张扬，有自己的想法却不至另类。成员包括来自爱尔兰西岸哥尔威的姐妹Cathy和Ciara Newell，还有和她们亲如姐姐的好朋友——来自爱尔兰音乐温床斯来哥的Kelly Kilfeather.
三人最初是在四年前的一次新人选拔赛中相识，因兴趣相同成为朋友。同时她们都拥有浓厚的爱尔兰传统音乐背景，掌握钢琴、吉他、小笛、手风琴等传统乐器，在尝试共同创作不久后被选拔赛评委相中。在2000年4月正式签约EMI唱片，当年即推出两张小样，均打入英国流行榜前20名；翻唱U2的歌曲《All I Want Is You》更是在本土取得双白金的成绩,并得到Bono的称赞。
2003年，Bellefire加入华纳旗下的East West Records唱片，成为Westlife的师妹。在与众多顶级制作人的合作下，Bellefire的最新大碟《Spin The Wheel》在编曲经典的同时融入了现代诸多的音乐元素，受到各方的好评。
经过长达四年的学习磨合，她们拥有了亲姐妹的默契和独立创作的能力，将以创作型组合的形象打入欧美乐坛。
