蝎子乐队最早成立于1969年，由 Rudolf Schenker（rhythm guitar/vocals）是乐队的组织者与灵魂，而他也正是蝎子乐队唯一一位自始至终的成员。经历了30多年的风风雨雨，乐队的人员经历了多次变动，最多时6人，而目前，乐队只剩下 Klaus Meine〔leader vocals〕, Rudolf Schenker, Matthias Jabs〔leader guitar〕三名成员。三员摇滚老将各个身怀绝技，Klaus Meine那嘹亮干净的高亢嗓音以及炉火纯青的唱功，即使在欧美顶尖摇滚乐队里也是数一数二的，而且还写得一手极棒的歌词，内涵颇深。Rudolf Schenker作为乐队的领导者，乐队每首作品的作曲基本上都是由他包办的，而蝎子作品旋律的优美、流畅、大气也正是乐队风靡世界的金字招牌。

这里推荐的是非常有感觉的《send me a angel》〔赐我天使〕，出自乐队与BERLINER PHILHARMONIKER〔柏林爱乐交响乐团〕合作的精选专辑《Moment of glory》〔辉煌的一瞬间〕。音乐前奏初始是气势极为恢弘的交响乐，磅礴的音流几乎压迫得难以呼吸，忽然音乐一转，舒缓悠扬的管乐演奏演奏却将曲调从慷慨激昂挽至款款抒情，柔婉的旋律异于蝎子高亢的音乐风格，却是同样的动听入心至极。在吉他solo之中，歌手的歌声契合地插入进来，主音Klaus Meine高亢嘹亮又不失沙哑磁性的嗓音在此时却压得极为低沉，嗓音的穿透力依然未减，更增加了万般哀婉沧桑的深情。粗犷沙哑的歌声来自节奏吉他兼主音Rudolf Schenker，他嗓音的浑厚与Klaus Meine嘹亮嗓音形成了鲜明的对照，却同样蕴含深邃的感情。如果用乐器来比喻的话，Klaus Meine的嗓音嘹亮、高亢、细腻就像管弦乐之王－－小提琴，而Rudolf Schenker的歌喉的低沉、浑厚、粗犷就如同无比抒情的大提琴，两者完美地配合演绎，让这首音乐极富听觉上的享受和魅力。

将生命溶入摇滚，在蝎子乐队的音乐中
是如此的简单。。。
